Sheedy’s is in the centre of the village within an easy walk of all the village has to offer and easy access to the pubs and Restaurants. The house, rooms and decor are all very modern, and the cleanliness is superb. The welcome and service are old fashioned, in that you’ll be personally greeted at the door, and nothing is too much to ask for!

Legendary Doolin hospitality veterans, Frank and Marian Sheedy, opened this boutique B&B in 2019. They have created the modern version of an Irish B&B – a cosy haven that feels like home. Space, good design and quality are the keynotes – beds have supremely comfortable bamboo pocket sprung mattresses, feather and down duvets, crisp white bed linen, and perfect pillows – most definitely 5-star luxury. The in-room facilities include a state-of-the-art en-suite shower, a large TV, a Nespresso coffee machine, and WiFi.

The welcome to Sheedy’s B&B starts even before you arrive. Marian is an unusually proactive host ahead of arrival, giving guests tips on what to do in the area and making dinner bookings in local restaurants.

Then on to the Pièce de résistance – the renowned breakfast! Given Frank and Marian’s well-earned reputation as restaurateurs, breakfast is always going to be the highlight of a stay at Sheedy’s. You will hardly believe the buffet spread that is laid in the spacious and well-lit dining room, and there may even be a special to add to the already extensive menu on offer. The fruits, yoghurts, delicious freshly baked bread and perfectly cooked hot dishes all add up to a memorable breakfast experience.

Then, when the well-fed guests reluctantly depart each morning, even the Old English Sheepdog, Bertie, comes out to say goodbye. Hospitable to the end, everyone leaves armed with plenty of guidance on the best things to do on the next stage of their trip.
